Portuguese Summer Courses in Lisbon 2022
Learning Portuguese in Lisbon during vacations and holidays. Is there a better way to enjoy summer? We all know that Lisbon is a passionate city, but the Portuguese language can be even more.
The Portuguese language has been the vehicle of so many fascinating writers like Fernando Pessoa or Paulo Coelho, or by musicians, who through fados, mornas, kizombas, sambas or bossa nova can trill or excite us.
Whatever the pronunciation or accent, the Portuguese language has something that captivates and interests us. Its phonetic richness, for many people a true mystery of the origin of so many nasal sounds, and historical richness, because it comes from a small country that can be both the beginning or the end of Europe, but that has managed to arrive in such a striking way to America, significant to Africa and symbolic to Macau in China. A language and culture that has also reached other languages. Did you know that orange in Romanian is portocalle?
During summer we only organize Portuguese intensive courses of 1 or 2 weeks. These courses correspond to 1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. You can, however, only do half a level for 1 week.
Our Portuguese Courses
The 40 hour Portuguese courses lasts 2 weeks. The classes take place from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Each class lasts 4 hours, with a half-time interval.
The 20 hour Portuguese courses correspond to half of 1 level and are part of the 40-hour courses. These courses take place either in the morning or in the afternoon. Fee €200.
Our groups have a maximum of 5 students per classroom. In this way you will have more opportunities to be able to apply the knowledge acquired in Portuguese classes. Our classes are fun and dynamic, with the use of new technologies, which make learning so much easy.

The fees include registration, manuals, audios, videos, final certificate, coffee and tea. You can also participate for free in our events: visits to museums and / or tours within the city of Lisbon, with students from other courses and levels.
Free Portuguese Online Level Test
In case you have studied Portuguese but you do not know for sure what your level is, you can take a free online level test without any kind of commitment. You will receive an email with the results, as soon as we have your test corrected and evaluated. In case of doubt, you can be contacted by phone in order to carry out a more exhaustive evaluation based on your level of orality.

The language school of the sardines is right in the historic center of Lisbon, in the street do Alecrim a few meters from Central Station Cais do Sodré to Cascais, which greatly facilitates access to the most fascinating places of the city.
With a periodicity of 2 cultural activities per week during summer, we take you to visit places of interest, among them, museums and exhibitions or just stroll through little unknown streets but with very interesting details. We take breaks to eat or drink during these walks and end at Cais do Sodré or Bairro Alto.
